I was kind of sick of the open world formula by the time I got to it but I powered through it because I liked the setting (Utah/Arizona canyons). Honest Hearts has a separate distinct open world with it’s own separate story that is more about religion and social dynamics than nukes and sci-fi. Lonesome Road is mostly a linear power fantasy and I liked the narrative so the corridor-like outdoor levels didn’t bother me much.
I only completed Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts so don’t take my opinion too seriously.
